This course is to expand upon the foundation that Basic Life Support CPR training provides to EMS personnel. This course will provide a generic overview of CPR, while also diving into the nuances of working a CPR scene with a patient in cardiac arrest.
- Introduction/CPR review
- Viability (irreversible death & advance directives)
- Arrest management (traumatic/atraumatic arrest)
- Transporting the CPR patient
- Special considerations (LUCAS, LVAD, downing, electrocution etc.)
