Description

The Long Beach Township Police Department will be hosting a three (3) day ELECTIVE CEU program put on by EMP Training. The class is open to police officers that are also certified as New Jersey Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). This class is an ELECTIVE CEU program, made up of nine (9) separate modules totaling the 24 ELECTIVE CEU credits needed for NJ EMTs to recertify. Each day will consist of a total of eight (8) CEU credits.  Students can attend all three (3) days or individual days as needed.

Day 1: Back to Basics- Patient Assessment, Patients in Custody, Lifting & Moving- Bariatrics

Day 2: Respiratory Emergencies, Soft Tissue Injuries, Triage & Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI)

Day 3: Officer Down-Surviving the Unthinkable, Technical Rescue Overview, High Speed EMS
